The Plant egg group (Japanese: しょくぶつ Plant) is one of the fifteen egg groups.
Characteristics
Most Template:Type2 Pokémon fall into this egg group, making its characteristics similar to that of the Grass-type itself. As expected, most members are based on various kinds of plants. As well as plants, this egg group also contains Pokémon based on fungi.
In this egg group, moves are passed down with relative ease, as most Grass Pokémon belong to a second egg group besides Plant. This makes the chain breeding process less difficult.
