Grace (Japanese: グレース Grace) is a Pokémon Coordinator and a minor recurring character who appeared in the anime. She was a competitor in the Fallarbor Contest.

History

Grace debuted in Pros and Con Artists, where she was first seen training her Medicham in the Fallarbor Town Pokémon Center. May was very impressed, but when she complimented her, Grace's face became red, and she began laughing hysterically. She later sat down with the group for a meal, where she discussed Contest combination moves.

Grace demonstrated some of her combinations, and May was inspired to practice some of her own techniques with Beautifly. However, May became overwhelmed after Drew approached her. The next day, she stumbled across Team Rocket's fake Pokéblock store, though Grace arrived in time to expose the trio's scheme and had Medicham send them blasting off.

During the Contest in Come What May!, Grace passed the Appeals Round and defeated Drew in the Battle Round. She eventually battled May in the finals, and they both put up a good fight. However, Beautifly ended up being stronger than Medicham and won, granting May her first Contest Ribbon. Afterwards, May complimented Grace on her battling skills; once again, her face turned red, and she began laughing.
