Goneff (Japanese: 怪盗ゴローニャ Mysterious Thief Golonya) is a character of the day who appeared in The Wayward Wobbuffet. He is a master thief who robs banks and steals everything.
When Jessie's Wobbuffet accidentally jumped on his truck, it was holding the key to the Poké Pod after an attempt to steal Pikachu went wrong. Soon after, Goneff took Wobbuffet away and the twerps and Officer Jenny raced to track down Wobbuffet and retrieve the key to free Pikachu.

| Goneff has a Golem, he is also shown to have a Golem shaped balloon. He held Jessie's Wobbuffet hostage. When Team Rocket got into his building he sends Golem out, only to be confronted by Ash and Totodile who hits it with a Water Gun. Golem uses Double Team creating three, Totodile is then hurt badly. It is about to be finished off when Wobbuffet uses Counter on an incoming attack, sending Golem towards Goneff and they are arrested.
