Goneff (Japanese: 怪盗ゴローニャ Mysterious Thief Golonya) is a character of the day who appeared in The Wayward Wobbuffet. He is a master thief who robs banks, leaving nothing behind.

| Goneff has a Golem, which he uses for his schemes. Goneff was also shown to have a Golem-shaped balloon.
When Team Rocket got into Goneff's hideaway building to retrieve Jessie's Wobbuffet that Goneff had unintentionally kidnapped, he sent Golem out, only to be confronted shortly thereafter by Ash and Totodile, who hit it with a Water Gun. Golem then used Double Team, creating three doubles of itself. Afterwards, it hurt Totodile badly. Totodile was about to be finished off when Wobbuffet used Counter on an incoming attack from Golem, sending it flying towards Goneff. Golem and its Trainer were then arrested as a result. Golem's known moves are Tackle, Double Team and Dynamic Punch. | ||
