Description | This leader of the expansive Team Rainbow Rocket enterprise, which aims to use Pokémon to rule the world, believes Pokémon are no more than tools. |
Giovanni (Japanese: サカキ Sakaki) is a Pokémon Trainer in Pokémon Masters EX, based on the character of the same name in the core series. He forms a sync pair with Mewtwo, which is capable of Mega Evolution after the Power Boost. The sync pair could be obtained during the limited-time Legendary Event, Lurking Shadow. The pair's potential was first upgradable to 6★ EX starting on September 16, 2021, which unlocks Giovanni's EX Style. Unlike the other sync pairs, this pair can be upgraded with Custom Legendary Spirits instead of Champion Spirits.
