Gilbert (HS14)

Gilbert (Japanese: ハジメ Hajime) is a young boy who is the son of the mayor of Pallet Town. He appears in Journey to the Starting Line. his Japanese voice actress is 日高のり子 Noriko Hidaka and his English voice actor is J. Griff.

He wanted a Starter Pokémon from Hoenn like Torchic, or a Pikachu like Ash Ketchum, who he seemed to have heard good things about.

Gilbert eventually chose a Bulbasaur after he was impressed by the strength of Ash's Bulbasaur.
