Gena (Japanese: モナーク Monarque) is a recurring character in the Pokémon anime. She is a world famous Poké Puff maker who first appeared in A Battle by Any Other Name!.
History
Gena made her debut appearance in A Battle by Any Other Name!, where she acted as the chief juror of the Poké Puff Contest. She was called on stage to announce the results of the preliminary round of the competition. As she was explaining to the audience what Poké Puffs meant to her, she was approached by Bonnie, who proposed her to marry Clemont. After Clemont grabbed Bonnie and took her off stage, she announced that Serena, Miette, and the Berrybaker kids would proceed to the final round.
The next day, she announced the results of the final round. She first told the audience what kind of Poké Puff each of the finalists had made. She then announced the winners to be the Berrybaker kids.
She appeared again Performing with Fiery Charm! where she was one of three judges during the Theme Performance of the Dendemille Town Rookie Class Pokémon Showcase. She judged alongside her Jigglypuff. They let Miette, Jessie (disguised as "Jessilia") and Serena advance to the Free Performance round. After the Free Performance round, she voted along with the audience to decide the winner of the Pokémon Showcase and was shown to vote for Serena.

| Jigglypuff is Gena's only known Pokémon. It appeared in Performing with Fiery Charm! where it along with its Trainer, judged the baking during the Theme Performance round of the Dendemille Town Pokémon Showcase. They let Miette, Jessie (disguised as "Jessilia") and Serena advance to the Free Performance round.
It prefers sweet-flavoured food. None of Jigglypuff's moves are known. | ||
