A Gardener (Japanese: にわし Gardener) is a type of Pokémon Trainer introduced in Generation VI. They are depicted as men responsible for hedge trimming. In the Battle Maison, they specialize in Grass- and Bug-type Pokémon. Only three Gardeners outside of the Battle Maison can be battled; all are located at Route 4. Each of these three Gardeners use only one Pokémon: Corphish.
