Biology
Gallade can Mega Evolve into Mega Gallade using the Galladite.
Gallade is a white, bipedal Pokémon. Its lower body consists of rounded hips with strong legs. It has a thin green torso with sharp, red horns sticking out of its chest and back. Its arms are shaped like tonfas with extendable blades in its elbows. It will use its arms like swords in order to protect someone. Its head resembles a gladiator's helmet with a white face and a teal head crest. It has spikes on the sides of its face. It is a master of courtesy and swordsmanship that is capable of predicting its foe's moves.

As Mega Gallade, red plates emerge on its arms, and the helmet and cape-like protrusions on its head and back give it a knightly appearance. When the situation demands, Mega Gallade can use its psychic power to reshape both arms into blades simultaneously, and fight using a dual-wielding style. Its upper body becomes white, and the spikes on its head elongate.
It, along with Gardevoir, is said to be a relative of the Paradox Pokémon Iron Valiant or a version of it from a different timeline.

Major appearances
Gallade debuted in The Rise of Darkrai as a resident of Alamos Town in Alamos Town. He led Alice, Ash, Dawn, and Brock to the area that Baron Alberto believed had been destroyed by Darkrai. He was later a major bystander during the battle between Dialga and Palkia.

Gallade made his main series debut in A Grand Fight for Winning!, under the ownership of Zoey. He was used in a two-on-two Contest Battle, along with Zoey, during the finals of the Sinnoh Grand Festival; they went up against Dawn's Piplup and Dawn. Gallade's efforts helped Zoey win the battle and the title of Top Coordinator.
It is a master of courtesy and swordsmanship capable of predicting its foe's moves, allowing it to strike preemptively. True to Gallade's honorable warrior image, it is just as protective of its Trainer as its counterpart, Gardevoir, using the blades on its elbows to defend. The shoulder blades are said to be sharper than even the best swords. Gallade is known to be sharply aware of a person's wish for help and seeks out those who need its assistance in battle, fighting savagely with fast and fierce attacks. It is capable of teaching itself swordsmanship at an impressive rate. As shown in Pokemon Adventures, Gallade can extend its blades at will to attack opponents from behind. This Pokémon inhabits mountainous areas.

A Gallade appeared in When Light and Dark Collide!, belonging to a theater director named Carl. He played in Carl's performance, but he was injured by Ash's Pikachu and had to be temporarily replaced by Ash's Hawlucha.
Forms
Gallade can Mega Evolve into Mega Gallade.

A Gallade appeared in Mending a Broken Spirit!, under the ownership of Woodward. He was used in a battle against Serena's Braixen as part of a test before the battle was called off.
As Mega Gallade, its entire body becomes white, save for its head. Red plates emerge from its arms, its blue head crest grows slightly longer, and the spikes on its head are elongated. It also gains two cape-like protrusions on its back, giving it a knightly appearance.

Minor appearances
When the situation demands it, Mega Gallade can use its psychic power to reshape both arms into blades simultaneously and fight using a dual-wielding style. Iron Valiant bears a resemblance to a combined Mega Gallade and Mega Gardevoir.

Gallade (Japanese: エルレイド Erureido) is a dual-type Psychic/Fighting Pokémon introduced in Generation IV.

It evolves from a male Kirlia when exposed to a Dawn Stone. It is one of Ralts's final forms, the other being Gardevoir.

Gallade can Mega Evolve into Mega Gallade using the Galladite.

It, along with Gardevoir, is said to be a relative of the Paradox Pokémon Iron Valiant[1] or a version of it[2] from a different timeline.

Biology

Gallade is a white, bipedal, bishōnen-like Pokémon. Its lower body consists of rounded hips with strong legs. It has a thin green torso with sharp, red horns sticking out of its chest and back. Its arms resemble tonfas with extendable, blade-like elbows. Its head resembles a gladiator's helmet with a white face, red eyes, and a teal head crest. It has spikes on the sides of its face.

Forms

Gallade can Mega Evolve into Mega Gallade.

As Mega Gallade, its entire body becomes white, save for its head. Red plates emerge from its arms, its blue head crest grows slightly longer, and the spikes on its head are elongated. It also gains two cape-like protrusions on its back, giving it a knightly appearance.

When the situation demands it, Mega Gallade can use its psychic power to reshape both arms into blades simultaneously and fight using a dual-wielding style.[3] Iron Valiant bears a resemblance to a combined Mega Gallade and Mega Gardevoir.

Evolution

Gallade evolves from male Kirlia and is one of the final forms of Ralts, the other being Gardevoir.

Major appearances

Gallade debuted in The Rise of Darkrai as a resident of Godey's Garden in Alamos Town.

He was used in a two-on-two Contest Battle, along with Glameow, during the finals of the Sinnoh Grand Festival; they went up against Dawn's Piplup and Togekiss. Trivia

Origin

The single fin on Gallade's head resembles the helmet worn by murmillo-class Roman gladiators, or the Corinthian helmet with a horsehair crest worn by Greek hoplites, but it may also be based on medieval knights. Additionally, its battle stances in various media resemble the en garde position and parries of modern fencing, while the elbow swords themselves have a close resemblance to tonfas, wooden bars held against the arm to act as batons and arm guards. The red piece on its chest may represent the heart, alluding to the empathic and protective nature of its evolutionary family mixed with chivalry of a knight.

Mega Gallade's cape is similar to a superhero cape or matador or bullfighter's fabric.

Name origin

Gallade may be a combination of gallant and blade.

Erureido may be a combination of elbow or earl, and blade. It may also involve 居合道 iaidō, a Japanese martial art of responding to attacks with swift swordplay.
