Galen (Japanese: ギジュ Guijeau) is Captain Phantom's second-in-command in Pokémon Ranger and the Temple of the Sea. He is voiced by Kenta Miyake in Japanese.
He was ordered by Phantom to attack the group when returning from the stream, in which his Beedrill used multiple Sludge Bomb attacks. But Pikachu countered with a Thunderbolt, allowing them to escape.
He was later commanded again to attack, this time with the ship's Supersonic, which put all the surrounding Pokémon in a confused state. Later, after Kyogre destroyed the ship, Galen goes unseen until the closing credits.
During the credits, it's revealed he's sharing the same jail cell as his Captain.

Trivia
- Galen's Beedrill do not appear in the 9th Movie Half Deck, but a card titled "Phantom's Beedrill" does, even though Phantom owns no Beedrill in the movie.
- Phantom will often recite his morals to Galen, usually beginning with: "Galen, remember- There are two types of men in this world-", or a variation of it, which most of the time in no way concerns Galen.
- His bandana is printed with Phantom's symbol, much like Archie's is printed with the Team Aqua symbol.
