Flygon (Japanese: フライゴン Frygon) is a Colorless-type Stage 2 Pokémon card. It is one of the Nintendo Black Star Promos.

Release information

In Japan, this card was released as both a Holofoil and Non Holofoil ADV-P Promotional card at participating 7-Eleven stores as part of the Pokémon Fair campaign, which ran from June 25th, 2003 until stocks lasted. Customers who purchased a bottle of Coca-Cola Vanilla, Sprite Classic, Ambasa Sour White, Fanta Fruit Punch, or Fanta Melon Soda were given one of 21 possible cards. Outside of Japan, it was awarded as a prize to those who attended the Pokémon e-League throughout August 2004. Winner versions of this card were also released, which feature a gold foil "Winner" stamp in the bottom right corner of the artwork.

Trivia

Origin

Sand Pit's Japanese name is that of Sand Tomb. Sand Tomb and Dragon Breath are both moves in the Pokémon games that Flygon can learn.
