(Japanese: フレイシティ Frey City) is an anime-exclusive location in Kalos. Like many other cities in the region, it is home to a Pokémon Showcase theater.
It was first mentioned by Monsieur Pierre in Party Dancecapades!, when he told the Performers attending his dance party that the city would host an upcoming Rookie Class Showcase. The competition took place in XY108, where Serena, Amelia, Alouette, Clarissa, Cal, Shurin, Kazari, and many other Pokémon Performers entered the event hoping to win the Frey City Princess Key.
During the Theme Performance, in which contestants had to place the highest number of Rhyhorn on their part of the field before time ran out, Serena was grouped with Kazari and Cal. She put her racing skills to good use and gathered a large group of Rhyhorn, defeating her opponents. Amelia also managed to advance to the second round. However, Alouette and Clarissa ended up being eliminated.
In the Freestyle Performance, Amelia dazzled the crowd together with her Shiny Dragonair and Espeon. Serena also impressed the audience along with her Braixen, Pancham, and Sylveon. In the end, their score could not be closer, but as Serena had received just a few more points, she was declared the winner, thus earning her third and final Princess Key and qualifying for the Master Class tournament.
