Electric Punch is similar to ThunderPunch, a move in the Pokémon games that Flaaffy can learn by TM (in Generation II) or move tutor (in Generation III onward). (Incidentally, Flaaffy's evolved form, Ampharos, learns it naturally by level-up.) The card's Pokédex entry comes from Pokémon Silver.
