Description A reliable veteran Pokémon Trainer from Johto, this energetic nature lover can often be found roaming the mountains.

Ethan (Japanese: ヒビキ Hibiki) is a Pokémon Trainer in Pokémon Masters EX, based on the character of the same name in the core series games. He forms a sync pair with Cyndaquil, and its evolved forms Quilava and Typhlosion. The sync pair can be obtained through the sync pair scout.

Cyndaquil → Quilava → Typhlosion

Cyndaquil can evolve into Quilava once it has reached level 30 through its Sync Pair Story Cyndaquil's Evolution, and then into Typhlosion once it has reached level 45 through its Sync Pair Story Quilava's Evolution.
