Release information
This card was included in the Plasma Storm expansion, first released in the Japanese Freeze Bolt expansion. In Japan, this card was reprinted as one of the BW-P Promotional cards, available as part of a ten card random pack released during the September 2012 Gym Challenge.
During the XY Series, Escape Rope was reprinted with new artwork by Toyste Beach in the English Primal Clash expansion, originating from the Japanese Tidal Storm expansion. In Japan, a Mirror Reverse Holo reprint of this print was included in the Premium Champion Pack.
A print with new artwork by Toyste Beach was released in the Japanese Facing a New Trial subset as a Mirror Holofoil print. A Full Art Secret print, also by Toyste Beach, was included in the Japanese To Have Seen the Battle Rainbow expansion. Both of these prints were included in the Burning Shadows expansion. In Japan, the Regular print was later reprinted as a Mirror Holofoil in the GX Battle Boost subset and as a Non Holofoil in the Tag Bolt and Double Blaze expansions. It was reprinted with different artwork by Toyste Beach in the Japanese GG End subset.
