Trivia
This card is one of numerous cards to feature an illustration that is part of a narrative. Following on from the scene on the Phione card, the Phione appears to have introduced the abandoned Trubbish to an Empoleon. The Trubbish appears to be enjoying itself riding on the Empoleon's back as it travels through the water.
Origin
Surf is a move in the Pokémon games that Empoleon can learn via HM03. This card's Pokédex entry comes from Pokémon Black 2 and White 2.
