Electro Ball (Japanese: エレキボール Elecball) is a damage-dealing Electric-type move introduced in Generation V.

Effect

Electro Ball inflicts more damage the faster the user is compared to the target.

Electro Ball's power is calculated as follows:

Target's Speed Power
More than 100%, or exactly 0 40
50.01% - 100% 60
33.34% - 50% 80
25.01% - 33.33% 120
0.01% - 25% 150

The Speed values used take all modifiers into account (including stat stages, paralysis, held items such as the Iron Ball, and Abilities such as Slush Rush).

Electro Ball has no effect on Pokémon with Bulletproof.

Electro Ball can also be used as part of a Contest Spectacular combination, with the user gaining extra three appeal points if a certain move (Agility, Autotomize, Calm Mind, Charge, Rock Polish, or Shell Smash) was used in the prior turn.
