Elaine (Ranger)

Elaine (Japanese: エレナ Elena) is a character in the game Pokémon Ranger: Shadows of Almia.

She is the Mechanic of the Ranger Base in Vientown. She is considered the best Mechanic in Almia, to the point that a student from the Ranger School wants to be like her.

She likes to take things apart, such as the Gigaremo units. She can grow impatient if she is made to wait for a long time to do so and it surprises her to see that she hasn't taken apart something for quite a while.

Her favorite Pokémon is a Dragonair, despite working with mechanical objects. This surprises Ollie, who thinks that she'd like something like Magnemite or Magneton. He then asks the player to fetch him one for her to make her happy as she rarely smiles, which becomes a Quest for the player. This makes her quite happy.

At the end of the game, during the extra mission For the Bride and Shaymin!, she marries Ollie. Unknown to her, her bouquet of flowers is actually a Shaymin.
