Release information
This card was one of eight available as part of the File Collection, released during the 2012 Pokémon Center Eevee Collection campaign. The campaign itself began on November 11, 2012, with the File Collection released on November 23, 2012 at a cost of ¥2,100. The File Collection, much like the Reshiram and Zekrom-themed file released early in the BW era, contains an assortment of stickers to decorate and organize the file. A placeholder card is also inserted along with the other cards, advertising the Eeveelution-themed Pokémon Center card available during the Spiral Force • Thunder Knuckle booster pack promotion in December 2012. It was later included in the Spiral Force expansion with new artwork by Naoki Saito. This print was included in the English Plasma Freeze expansion. The original BW-P Promotional print was later released in the English Sylveon Collection on November 15, 2013.
It was later released as part of the Stamp Rally held in Japanese 7-11 stores for the Pokémon Fair 2013. In order to win the card, customers had to find four different stamps of 24 by going to different 7-11 stores. From July 15 to 31, customers had to find 4 of 24 stamps of Pokémon that appeared in the sixteenth movie; from August 1 to 15, customers had to find 4 of 24 stamps of Legendary Pokémon and Mythical Pokémon. This print featured new artwork by Akira Komayama. This print was later released in the Legendary Treasures Blisters on November 6, 2013.
