Edna (Japanese: Kuni) is a character of the day from the Pokémon anime who appeared in Time-Warp Heals All Wounds. Her Japanese voice actress is Yuko Sato.
A Pokémon breeder, Edna was experiencing grief when Ash and company met her. Many years before their meeting, her husband, Jonathan, went on a train and never came back. On that same day, Edna found out she was pregnant, and lost her locket rushing to get to the train and tell him. Ever since, she has been waiting at the train station for his return.
In the original timeline's present day, May's Squirtle found Edna's locket. May opened it, and is sent back in time with Meowth. After going through the timeline, May and Meowth altered the past, enabling Jonathan to live in the present day.
