The EX Battle Stadium is a special Deck Kit for the Pokémon Trading Card Game and was released in English and European languages only. It features the Blaze Pokémon Blaziken and the Embrace Pokémon Gardevoir.

Description

The Pokémon TCG: EX Battle Stadium is for the strong-hearted. Inside you will face challenges the likes of which you have never seen. Of course, you will not be alone. At your side will be either the fiery Blaziken or the psychic Gardevoir, plus a battle-ready team of Pokémon!

Everything two competitors need to face-off is inside the EX Battle Stadium. Each deck is built for epic battles, with sideboard kits to make them more powerful — even 2-on-2 Battles are possible.

So, are you feeling brave?

Information

The EX Battle Stadium was designed with quick and competitive play in mind. It contains two 60-card decks as well as 4 10-card sideboard kits, designed to enable players to adapt their decks to a 2-on-2 style match or improve it to a more competitive deck. All of the cards included in the kit are reprints from the first six EX Series expansions, though cards from EX Ruby & Sapphire, EX Sandstorm, and EX Dragon use the card design introduced in EX Team Magma vs Team Aqua, lacking the e-Reader dot code strips or "e" logo. The EX Battle Stadium also includes a two-player mat, a 16-page strategy guide, damage counters, status counters, and a game coin.

The Blaziken and Gardevoir decks, along with their respective sideboard kits were later repackaged as two separate items of merchandise: the Blaziken Deck and Gardevoir Deck, together called Template:Merch. These products were released on July 13, 2005 and differ only in terms of the accessories included: both contain a one-player mat and deck specific strategy guide, as well as the usual game counters and coin.
