Major events

  • This episode was skipped due to the presence of Jynx a Pokémon considered by some to be an offensive racial stereotype.
  • The Nurse Joy in this episode is the younger sister of the Nurse Joy in The Joy of Pokémon. While that Nurse Joy prefers the warmer climate of the Orange Islands, this Nurse Joy prefers the colder climate of the Ice Cave.
