Pokémon Shipwreck (Japanese: ポケモンひょうりゅうき Pokémon Adrift) is episode 16 of the Pokémon anime. It was first broadcast in Japan on July 15, 1997 and in USA on September 29, 1998.

Ash, Brock, Misty, Jessie and James are stuck in the Saint Anne at the bottom of the ocean. Will they be able to escape before it is too late?

In our last episode, Ash and his friends have foiled Team Rocket's sinister plan to steal the Pokémon from all the trainers on the St. Anne. After stopping the evil plan, the cruise liner started sinking, with Ash and his friends and Jessie, James and Meowth still onboard.

  • PM-16 was the name of the ship on which the memorial service was held. The initials appear to stand for Pocket Monsters and the number corresponds with the episode number.
