As a Roselia, Roserade first appeared in Now That's Flower Power! when Drew challenged May to a Contest Battle to determine who would get some Bluk Berries. It battled May's Beautifly, managing to stop its Tackle with Petal Dance and paralyze it with Stun Spore. However, Roselia's Magical Leaf was overcome by Silver Wind and it took damage, just as Team Rocket interrupted the match by stealing the Berries. It then destroyed their mecha with Solar Beam and combined the attack with Pikachu's Thunderbolt to send them blasting off, allowing Torchic to retrieve the Berries.
