Release information
This card was released as a promotional card. In Japan, it was included with Template:Card GB for the Game Boy Color. The card was never released in English.
Trivia
- This card displays a 'GB' symbol in place of the Expansion symbol, indicating it was originally created exclusively for the Game Boy.
- This is one of the four Legendary Cards, which are central to the plot of Template:Card GB, and its sequel Template:Card GB 2. It is the only one to be released as an actual card. Similarly, it is only one of three Game Boy-exclusive cards to be made into a card. The others are Tangela and Electrode.
Origin
Slam is a move in the Pokémon games that Dragonite can learn. This card's English Pokédex entry comes from Pokémon Yellow, wheras the Japanese entry comes from Pokémon Red and Blue. The promotional print Pokédex entry comes from Pokémon Red and Green.
