Dr. Wiseman was trying to capture a {{shiny}} {{AP|Noctowl}} so that he could study it. He wanted to figure out why it was colored differently than the other Noctowl. However, the Noctowl was constantly outsmarting him, and always caught on to his plans.

Dr. Wiseman (Japanese: トリガイ Torigai) is a character of the day who appeared in Fowl Play!. He is a collector of rare Pokémon who is particularly interested in studying differences between unusual variations in Pokémon.
