Trivia

Some early prints of the card rotate the Fighting symbol in Dig's Energy cost 90 degrees counterclockwise.

Origin

Dig is a move in the Pokémon games that Diglett can learn. Mud-Slap is a move introduced in the Generation II games that Diglett can learn. This card's English Pokédex entry comes from Pokémon Red and Blue, whereas the Japanese entry comes from Pokémon Red and Green.
