POKÉMON Detective Pikachu

Detective Pikachu (Japanese: 名探偵ピカチュウ Great Detective Pikachu) is an upcoming live-action Pokémon movie focusing on the character Detective Pikachu, who was first introduced in the Nintendo 3DS game Great Detective Pikachu ~Birth of a New Duo~. The film will be produced by Legendary Entertainment and distributed by Universal Pictures outside Japan and by Toho in Japan.

Rob Letterman will direct Detective Pikachu, while Nicole Perlman and Alex Hirsch will write the script.

It was first revealed in July 2016.
