Destiny Deoxys (manga)

Destiny Deoxys, is the manga adaption of the movie and was written by Takashi Teshirogi (writer of the manga Ash and Pikachu).

The manga consisted of three chapters:

  • The Pokémon From Outer Space!
  • The Shocking Impact And The Mystrious Gem!
  • Gathering Of The Companions...!!


Differences between the anime and the manga

  • Team Rocket only appears once.
  • A Block Bot is replaced with a robot dog but changed to a Block Bot later on.
  • Deoxys and Rayquaza's battle is changed.
  • Munchlax has a different role in the manga then the anime.
  • Professor Lund's assistant Yuko is replaced with a villainous male assistant named Haruno.
