A Cyclist (Japanese: サイクリング Cycling) is a type of Pokémon Trainer that first debuted in the Generation IV games. They are young men and women on bicycles who wear Lycra.

They generally use a variety of Pokémon, but tend to favor Flying, Fire, and Electric types. They seem to be the Generations IV and V form of the Generation III Triathlete.

In Unova, since there is no Cycling Road, Cyclists are very sparse. In fact, there are only two to be found in the whole game, and both of them are found on Route 16. In Black 2 and White 2, however, an additional two are added to the top of Rebirth Mountain.
