Cute Charm (Japanese: メロメロボディ Enebriating Body) is an ability introduced in Generation III. Nine Pokémon have this ability, all of them Template:Type2.
Effect
In battle
When a Pokémon with Cute Charm is attacked by a move that makes contact, there is a 30% chance that the attacker will become infatuated, making it unable to attack most of the time.
Outside of battle
Outside of battle, if the Pokémon with Cute Charm is first in the party, then the chance of encountering a Pokémon of the opposite gender is 66.6%, regardless of gender ratios. This does not affect the swarming Pokémon species.
