A cushion is a type of item introduced in Generation III, debuting in Pokémon Ruby, Sapphire, and Emerald.

Generation III

In Pokémon Ruby, Sapphire, and Emerald, cushions can be used to decorate either the player's home or Secret Base. All cushions must be placed on a desk, a mat, or on a certain kind of ornament. These are all available at the Lilycove Department Store, except for the Kiss Cushion, which is available at the Battle Frontier.
