Creatures, Inc. (Japanese: 株式会社クリーチャーズ) is a subsidary of Nintendo. Creatures is one of the companies responsible for producing and licensing various aspects of the Pokémon franchise, including the Trading Card Game and other merchandise in Japan. Creatures owns one-third of the copyright to the Pokémon franchise (the other two-thirds owned by Game Freak and Nintendo). The company was founded under the title Ape, Inc. Aside from their work with Pokémon, they are best known for creating the EarthBound series of video games. Its current president is Hirokazu Tanaka.
