Confide (Japanese: ないしょばなし Secret Talk) is a non-damaging Normal-type move introduced in Generation VI. It is TM100 as of Generation VI.
Effect
Confide lowers the target's Special Attack stat by one stage and bypasses accuracy checks to always hit, unless the opponent is in the semi-invulnerable turn of a move such as Dig or Fly. Confide will hit the target even if it has used Protect, Detect, or Spiky Shield, but will fail if it is protected by Crafty Shield. Pokémon with the Ability Soundproof are not affected by this move.
If powered up by a Normalium Z into Z-Confide, the user's Special Defense stat raises one stage.
