Community Day

Pokémon GO Community Day is a monthly in-game event in Pokémon GO meant to bring together and celebrate its player community. It features specific Pokémon through limited-time increased spawn rates and obtainable exclusive moves for three hours. During these events, different resource bonuses occur, such as increased XP gain or cut-down Egg hatching time. Field Research tasks specific for the Community Day event are also available during the three hour period.

Although not officially acknowledged, Community Day events also introduce the featured Pokémon's Shiny form into the game, and have increased rates of being shiny during the event.

The event starts and ends at different times according to the region the player is located in.
