Trivia
- Clair and Kingdra were the first sync pair whose weakness is the same as their type.
- They are the only Dragon-type sync pair to have the Dragon type as their weakness, aside from Gladion and Dragon-type Silvally.
- All versions of Clair use special voice-over lines upon entering a team that contains certain Trainers (regardless of their partner Pokémon). Those Trainers include Jasmine, Erika, and Lance.
- Clair also uses special voice-over lines upon winning a battle with Jasmine or Lance in the same team.
- Clair and Drampa being released for the 2024 New Year's event may reference 2024 being the Year of the Dragon.
Origin
Clair's design is based on her appearance in Pokémon HeartGold and SoulSilver. Kingdra is Clair's signature Pokémon in the core series games. Kingdra's Dex entry comes from Pokémon Ruby.
Clair is not seen owning a Drampa outside this game. Drampa's Dex entry comes from Pokémon Ultra Sun.
