Christopher (Japanese: ユウサク Yūsaku) is a recurring character in the Pokémon anime. He founded and operates the famous Sinnoh-based noodle chain "Jessie and James's Noodle Shop".
History
Pre-series
Christopher was an underclassman at the Team Rocket Academy during the time Jessie and James were attending. He struggled with training and was invited for ramen by Jessie and James to cheer him up. Inspired by the kind gesture, Christopher decided to go back to Sinnoh and open up a ramen shop, which he called "Jessie and James's Noodle Shop" in honor of his friends. Upon seeing the expertise with which Meowth could cut noodles, Christopher offered Meowth a job in one of his ramen shops with a view to taking over the business eventually. Although Meowth reluctantly refused at first, after yet another blasting off courtesy of the twerps he decided to take Christopher up on the offer. Although Meowth's future looked bright, he quickly realized he couldn't just abandon his long-time team-mates. Upon hearing they were in trouble on Metagross Mountain he quickly quit the job and left to help his friends. | ||
