Origin

Chingling is based off of a bell.

Name origin

Chingling may be an onomatopaeia for ringing. Ling (铃) is Chinese for "bell, chime". Lisyan may be based on the word listen. Its German name, Klingplim, comes from Klingel. Its French name, Korillon, comes from 'carillon.
