Release information

This card was included in the English BREAKpoint expansion, first released in the Japanese Rage of the Broken Heavens expansion. In Japan, an Holofoil XY-P Promotional print was later available in the Ho-Oh + Lugia Special Set, released on April 23, 2016. This print features the Pokémon Center logo in the bottom right corner of the artwork.

Trivia

This card is one of numerous cards to feature an illustration that is part of a narrative. In this illustration, a Chikorita saw a Fennekin in the rift hole torn between the twin worlds. The scene continues on the Fennekin card.

Origin

Tackle is a move in the Pokémon games that Chikorita can learn. Blot is an attack first seen on Erika's Oddish from Gym Heroes. This card's Pokédex entry comes from Pokémon Y.
