Release information

In Japan, this card was 1 of 3 SM-P Promotional cards that could be earned by participating in Pokémon Card Station events starting July 15, 2018 through to June 30, 2019. Eligible events included the Kangaskhan Tag Battle, a 2 on 2 format conducted in pairs; the Sylveon Girls Battle, a format limited to female competitors; and the Weekday Tournament, a mini Swiss-format competition with 4 or more competitors. The Kangaskhan Tag Battle and Sylveon Girls Battle were typically held on one day during weekends, while the Weekday Tournaments were held three times every Monday-Friday. The Pokémon Card Stations were initially only present at the Tokyo Bay and Osaka Pokémon Centers; a new station opened at Pokémon Center Nagoya on November 16, 2018. The Pokémon Card Game logo is featured in the bottom right corner of the illustration.

Trivia

This card is one of numerous cards to feature an illustration that is part of a narrative. Following on from the scene on the Litten card, a book knocked from the bookshelf has awoken the Litten, now angry at the startled Chespin, which has also inadvertently struck the nearby Inkay with its tail. The scene continues on the Inkay card.

Origin

Leech Seed is a move in the Pokémon games that Chespin can learn. This card's Pokédex entry comes from Pokémon Y.
