A Chef (Japanese: りょうりにん Chef) is a type of Pokémon Trainer introduced in Generation VI. They are depicted as men wearing aprons who are hired to cook food. They tend to use the elemental monkeys in battle.

In the Battle Maison, a Chef's team specializes in either a combination of Grass-, Water-, and Fire-type Pokémon, or a combination of Water- and Ice-type Pokémon.

The Cook Trainer class introduced in Generation VII is similar to the Chef Trainer class.
