Charizard (Japanese: リザードン Lizardon) is a Fire-type Stage 2 Pokémon card. It is part of the EX Dragon expansion.

Card text

Flip a coin. If heads, search your discard pile for 2 Fire Energy cards and attach them to Charizard (1 if there is only 1).
FireColorlessColorlessColorless Flame Pillar
You may discard a Fire Energy card attached to Charizard. If you do, choose 1 of your opponent's Benched Pokémon and do 30 damage to that Pokémon. (Don't apply Weakness and Resistance for Benched Pokémon.)

Release information

This card was included in the English EX Dragon expansion as a Secret Rare card, first released as one of the Japanese PCG-P Promotional cards. In Japan, it was awarded as a prize to anyone who participated in the regional Spring 2004 Battle Road tournaments.



Collect Fire is an attack that first appeared on Houndour from Neo Discovery. Flame Pillar is an attack that first appeared on Dark Rapidash from Team Rocket.
