He later explained why he used his {{p|Fearow}} and {{p|Cyndaquil}} to pretend to be {{p|Ho-Oh}} and introduced them to his grandfather [[Jiei]]. They later headed up the [[Bell Tower]] where they encountered a {{p|Misdreavus}} and {{p|Stantler}} who were standing guard. Briefly distracted by Stantler's illusions, the group reached the top of the tower after Go caught Misdreavus and Stantler. Everyone called out go Ho-Oh without success and Kurio proceeded to leave with Ash and Go, only for Jiei to call out after seeing it but it disappeared before Jiei could see it.

Chad

Chad (Japanese: クリオ Kurio) is a character of the day who appeared in Finding a Legend!. His hometown is Ecruteak City.

Chad met Ash and Goh after Pikachu hit his Pokémon with Thunderbolt. He later explained why he used his Fearow and Cyndaquil to pose as Ho-Oh and introduced them to his grandfather Jaye. They later headed up the Bell Tower, where they encountered a Misdreavus and Stantler who were standing guard.
