Removal of this page.

I'm thinking maybe it's time to remove this page. The title is very vague and not to mention moves can and have stopped being HMs just to become HM again in a future generation. (Dive is the perfect example of this.)

And waterfall wasn't a HM move the generation it was introduced.

Yes, I am also the person who made this category in the first place. But I regret it as I didn't take anything into consideration.

So I think it's best to get rid of this category as it's very vague. Blaze The Movie Fan (talk) 17:15, 2 March 2014 (UTC)

Deletion

I'm semi-opposed. I feel like it should be converted to a list of Pokémon that learn Field Moves by level up, as that's quite a bit more helpful, in my opinion. To count, it would need to learn it in a generation that it's a field move. So, in other words, if it just learns Defog by level up in Gen V, that doesn't count. --Wynd Fox 09:52, 8 March 2014 (UTC)

Even then Rayquaza and Salamence are literally the ONLY Pokémon that qualify, as waterfall wasn't a HM in the generation the move was introduced.
If there are only two Pokémon that qualify, making a category is pretty pointless.
I will get all the Pokémon out of this category if it gets removed. Blaze The Movie Fan (talk) 01:48, 9 March 2014 (UTC)
It doesn't matter that Waterfall wasn't an HM when it was introduced; Goldeen and Seaking still learn it in generations in which it is a field move, so it would still count for WyndFox's suggested change. By my rough count based on the moves listed on the field move (core series) page, expanding it to field moves would add about 100 Pokémon to the category (minus overlaps, if there are any).
