This is a list of TMs that all of the Pokémon that can learn TMs can learn.
Noteworthy TMs excepted from this category:
- Rest and Protect, which can be learned by all Pokémon that learn TM moves except Regigigas.
- Attract, which can be learned by all Pokémon that can learn TM moves, and are gendered, except Nincada, Ferroseed, Ferrothorn, Larvesta, and Volcarona. Despite being genderless, Mew, Cryogonal, and Staryu family (Generation II only) can also learn this move.
- Captivate, which can be learned by all Pokémon that can learn TM moves, and are gendered, except Nincada. Despite being genderless, Mew can also learn this move.
- Double-Edge, which can be learned by all Pokémon that learn TM moves when it was a TM in Generation I except Grimer, Muk, Gastly, Haunter, Voltorb, Electrode, Koffing, and Weezing. The exclusion is still retained when Double-Edge becomes Move Tutor in Generation III.
Notably, this does not include any HMs.
Also, in Generation VI, Wobbuffet, Wynaut, Kricketot, Burmy, Tynamo and Spewpa became able to learn TM moves that they would otherwise learn by level but remained unable to learn any other TMs.
