Carnivine Pokémon G (Japanese: マスキッパG[ギンガ] Masukippa G [Galactic]) is a Grass-type Pokémon Pokémon G card. It is one of the DP Black Star Promos.

Card text

Power Whip
Choose 1 of your opponent's Pokémon. This attack does 10 damage for each Energy attached to Carnivine Pokémon G to that Pokémon. (Don't apply Weakness and Resistance for Benched Pokémon.)
Grass Knot
Does 20 damage plus 10 more damage for each   Energy in the Defending Pokémon's Retreat Cost (after applying effects to the Retreat Cost).

Release information

This card was released in May 2009 as one of two cards available in Rising Rivals Blister Packs. In Japan, this card and four other promotional cards were made available to anyone who bought two Galactic's Conquest booster packs during the expansion's initial release campaign at participating stores. These cards were the first available cards from the DPt-P promotional series.

  • On the English print of the card, the card's HP reads "80HP" instead of "HP80" as is typical of a Generation IV-era card.
  • The official card database entry for this card erroneously uses the Hiragana ず in the Japanese name of Grass Knot rather than the Katakana す used in the video games, which is used on the actual card.

Power Whip and Grass Knot are both moves in the Pokémon games that Carnivine can learn.
