Carnivine (Japanese: マスキッパ Muskippa) is a Grass-type Pokémon. It is available in Generation IV games.
Biology
Physiology
Carnivine resembles a flying flytrap. It does not have any legs like other Grass Pokémon (such as Template:PlBellsprout) and instead has vines attached like tentacles to the end of the stem. Two large leaves fan out from its stem and they act as arms (rather than wings). The inside of its mouth is red (much like real-life carnivorous plants) and secretes a sweet-smelling saliva that, much like real life carnivorous plants, this saliva attracts prey which Carnivine then chomps down on. It takes a day to eat its prey. It does not have an evolutionary line.
Gender differences
None.
