Carnivine (Japanese: マスキッパ Muskippa) is a Grass-type Basic Pokémon card. It was first released as part of the Diamond & Pearl expansion.
Card text
Before doing damage, count the remaining HP of the Defending Pokémon and Carnivine. If the Defending Pokémon has fewer remaining HP than Carnivine's, this attack does 60 damage instead.
Flip a coin. If heads, the Defending Pokémon is now
Paralyzed and discard an Energy card attached to the Defending Pokémon.

It attracts prey with its sweet-smelling saliva, then chomps down. It takes a whole day to eat prey.

Release information
This card was included in the Diamond & Pearl expansion with artwork by Kouki Saitou, first released in the Japanese Space-Time Creation expansion. It was reprinted in POP Series 8 with different artwork by the same artist. The Japanese version was released through a Meiji Chocolate promotion in July 2007.
