Captain Crook is a pirate that has been known to poach Pokémon.
Ash, Misty and Tracey were about to take the ferry back to Pallet Town until they saw Lapras' friends. This school of Lapras was being plagued by Captain Crook and his crew. Ash and his friends intervened with the pirates' plans. Afterwards, Captain Crook and his crew were arrested, as well as Team Rocket agents Jessie, James and Meowth. He is usually assisted by his First Mate, Scuz.
