Kurune first appeared in [[JN015]], where she was working alongside her husband when they received a phone call from Goh, who informed them that he was coming back home to visit them. After wondering why Goh was visiting them, Kurune and Ikuo finished their work before going to meet Go. Just then, they received a call for help, forcing them to inform Goh that they were canceling their meeting.
